Bursary Applications
NAATSIHWP is offering reimbursement of travel, accommodation and/or registration fee for eligible FULL and STUDENT NAATSIHWP members based on where they live. The model used to assess eligibility in the first and second rounds and the amount to be received is based on the Modified Monash Model.

Eligibility Requirements
1. You must be a NAATSIHWP FULL or STUDENT member at the time of application. Contact our membership team at membership@naatsihwp.org.au to confirm your membership. When considering applying please allow two weeks for membership processing.
2. Check the Health Workforce Locator to find out what level of bursary you can apply for. You can also visit the website to learn more about the Modified Monash Model or write to eso@naatsihwp.org.au.
3. We strongly encourage applicants to obtain support from their employer to attend the conference.
4. Read the Terms and Conditions document before submitting.
What types of support are available?
The support available to people who receive a bursary includes:
| TIER 1 | This includes: - $1,500 for members from Rural and Remote areas MMM 4-7. |
|---|---|
| TIER 2 | This includes: - $750 for members from Metropolitan and Regional areas MMM 1-3. |
| TIER 3 | This includes: - Reimbursement of registration fee for members within the Greater Melbourne, Geelong, the Mornington Peninsula and the Dandenong Ranges. |
Important Note regarding GST: All bursary amounts are exclusive of GST. Where a compliant tax invoice is provided, NAATSIHWP is able to claim the GST component. This means that a Tier 1 bursary of $1500 (ex GST) becomes $1650 including GST) and a Tier Bursary of $750 (ex GST) becomes $825 (incl GST).

Send your EOIs to eso@naatsihwp.org.au with email subject line, ‘EOI NAATSIHWP Conference Bursary’, which should contain the following:
A personal statement in 250 words, on your reasons for wanting to attend the 2026 Conference and how the bursary will assist you in attending the NAATSIHWP Conference
NAATSIHWP membership application or confirmation of Full or Student membership
Registration and Travel Arrangements:
Registration and all travel-related bookings such as flights, transfers, accommodation, etc. are the responsibility of the applicant.
